The Story Of Liverpool Through Its Trees
About This Project

Two composite photos of the same tree, which I took over the course of the lockdown. I walk every morning and thought it would be interesting to record the sycamore tree leafing-up through spring and summer and shedding its leaves through autumn and winter.

The tree is located in the field near Springwood Crematorium, opposite Allerton Tower Gardens.

I have walked past this tree many times with Greg and love how he has captured it’s changes through the seasons. I also love how light and shadows work in the photographs to give depth and show off the tree.
