The Story Of Liverpool Through Its Trees

FAVOURITE TREES

Here are a few of my favourite trees from around liverpool. The first two are canopies in Southport Botanic Gardens and then a cherry blossom tree from Croxteth Country Park.

The final one is the grounds of Walton Church spring 2019 when the old graveyard is awash with bluebells. These ancient trees have always filled me with a sense of wonder and mystery, particularly because Walton church is mentioned in the Domesday book and so the trees are a living, breathing historical monument that whisper of ancient magic. Trees are my solace and during this troubled year and last year, I have missed them terribly.
