This partially illuminated sign was on the side of an old pub called ‘Mulvany’s Lounge’, it was mostly home to locals and always had a collection of old fellas teasing the last out of halves of mild in the doorway while smoking roll ups. In the past year it’s been pulled down and in its place will be town houses which will allegedly be on the market for £600k. I lived around the corner from Mulvany’s and this beautifully imperfect sign for 6 years seeing it twice a day when cycling to and from my studio, it always brightened my day.
