I love to see the wind blowing across long grass or cereal crops, creating the appearance of waves. I have tried to create a still image showing this effect but it is difficult to convey the sense of movement.

However, strong wind can deform the grass, leaving semi-permanent evidence of its passing, and creating the appearance of a wave, as I hope to show with these two images created on the Dee Estuary.
