About This Project

Image 1:

Blessing of the wind

In the eyes of those who believe in Tibetan Buddhism, the wind blowing the sutra represents that the wind is chanting the scriptures, and the wind will help one to pray and communicate to God for blessing.

Gravel crossing

Walking here was very difficult and I even struggled to keep my footing. The wind turned into shaped gravel gusts that prevented me from moving forward.

Image 3:

Life on a small island

Islanders use the wind to dry cured fish, a very common local food. This practice is a local custom.

Image 4:

Freedom or constraint

The wind has always been associated with words like “free”, but when I came out into the open in my short skirt, the wind made me feel constricted.
