About This Project

I keep dollars as book marks to remind me that one day I want to travel to the USA on a photography road trip.

This series of photos started out by accident. I was sat at my desk and my wife opened the front door. A gust of wind blew my handful of dollars of the table I was sat at. As I looked over at them the wind carried them over a mirror that was resting on the floor. I went over, picked up the dollars and dropped them over the mirror. I did this several times and then decided to grab my camera. I wasn’t sure what I was trying to achieve I just wanted to see what happened. I’m still not sure if this was what I wanted to achieve, but I was happy with the abstract nature of what I had done. Those moments for me are (for me) what photography is about. Finding beauty is something no one else would see or think to look at.
