The wind has always been a silent companion, ever-present, ever-moving, stirring the world into motion. It is the breath of life, a force that transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary. For me, the wind is like a car speeding down an open road, like a newspaper lifted into the air, its pages dancing as if suddenly alive. I see cherry blossom trees swaying until they surrender, releasing their petals in a delicate cascade. Through my lens – an analogue camera with a special touch – I’ve sought to capture this elusive force. The images are imbued with a blur, a whisper of motion that hints at the wind’s invisible hand. We may never truly capture the wind, but in these moments, I’ve tried to trace its always moving essence.
