Yaroslav Solop, from the Eternal return series, around Sevastopol, Ukraine, 2011

The photographs for the series were created in Crimea in 2011. They depict winter landscapes, Sevastopol and small towns near the sea. Immediately after Russia’s annexation of the peninsula, Solop once again carefully reviewed the negatives and painted them.

This artwork is located at SUP, 6 Atherton Street, CH45 2NY. Venue opening times: Wednesday – Saturday 10am – 9pm Sunday 10am – 5pm Closed Monday and Tuesday.
