Polina Polikarpova, from the Absentee-Attendee series, Kharkiv, Ukraine, 2019-ongoing
The Absentee-Attendee series is presenting Polikaprova’s desire to explore and contemplate the most unobvious places and views. During her wanderings, the landscape became a living character, changing its appearance depending on the season.
This artwork is located at Victoria Gallery and Museum, Aston Square, L69 3DR. Venue opening times: Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 5pm; Closed Sunday and Monday.

Home, why I keep returning?
Home, where my world is breaking in two
Home, with the neighbors fighting
Home, always so exciting
Home, were my parents telling the truth?”
