Evgeniy Pavlov, from the Total Photography series, 1992
In the series comprising over a hundred images, the colour subordinates the already created black-and-white depictions of the mundane. Pavlov paints negatives and prints richly and unexpectedly, merging photography with painting and reality with fiction.
