“Becoming Visible” explores identity as something layered rather than fixed. Across three portraits, the body becomes a site of distortion, inscription, and multiplicity.
Sometimes identity feels fragmented. Sometimes it feels written on the body. Sometimes it feels like I am many versions of myself at once. This series reflects on how I see myself, not as one fixed identity, but as something layered and shifting. In the first image, the face feels distant, almost hidden, like a signal trying to come through. In the second, the body carries traces of memory and experience. In the final image, the self appears multiplied suggesting that who we are is never singular.
These photographs explore what it means to slowly become visible to yourself.
