About This Project

“In Calderstones Park on this field is where me and my brother learnt to ride our bikes while our dad ran behind us and our mum cheered us on and videoed”

“In Calderstones park I would spend the most time on the ‘spinny bowl’ when I was little. Spinning until I couldn’t walk straight and would fall over”

“This little bench on Alerton Road is where I always go and sit with my best friends to eat when we go charity shopping. It’s a place that reminds me of all our laughs and catch ups”

“The waterfront holds so many memories for me and I’ve always loved the buildings that really make Liverpool stand out so beautifully for its architecture”

“The thing that makes Liverpool most my home is the people. This lovely couple stopped to talk to me while I took pictures and told me about great pleased I could go to take more photos”

“Every rainy day out we had when I was little was to this museum, art gallery or library.”

“Bold street is one of my favourite places in the whole city. There’s a sense of comfort that I associate with it. And it’s so perfectly quirky you can stumble upon anything in these shops”

“This is at my secondary school which contains the most memories of any place I’ve ever been. It’s where I’ve had my most laughs and met the best friends I’ve ever had”

“This is West Derby village, where I’ve lived my whole life. I’ve always said since I was little that I loved living in a village, and especially loved the little traditional shops like the butchers”

“This is the chippy me and my dad would always go to after we watched a Liverpool football match when I was little. We would get a ‘celebratory cone of chips’ when they won”
