The Story Of Liverpool Through Its Trees
About This Project

For this project I have lit trees using green and red light to highlight their place within the environment, green for woodland and red for urban.

I wanted to bring awareness to the trees within my home area of Sefton and show the green space trees and those found alongside busy roads where emission levels are elevated. The red signifies the carbon dioxide, a warning sign to people to show how alarming the environmental situation is polluting the air we breathe.

Lung and chest problems are connected to the rate of air pollution within these areas. A tree takes in carbon dioxide and gives out oxygen, clean air to breathe, therefore helping counteract the damage made by cars to the environment.
